Wait really? I used to work at a place where we cleared out HDDs with a degausser. I’m pretty sure that thing wasn’t as strong as a car junkyard magnet.

Then they can act out whatever they want to do as they do in the real world with all the consequences, but instead affecting nothing in reality. Having an autonomous zone to act it out won’t work because they won’t be satisfied if the real world they perceive isn’t affected.

Having said that, I do hate those segments in concerts and sports where they feature audiences on the screens without consent. It’s not like there’s a line in the customer agreement when buying tickets that you allow your face to be featured (unless there is?). That’s why I always make myself as boring as possible - either just sitting with a straight face, or eating something - so I don’t get singled out.
If you don’t mind the additional real estate, it would also be great to have a version where “printing” is still there but struck out, for people who aren’t aware of the original.
