Just got into the pokemon fan game “Pokemon Eclesia” last night, so I’m probably gonna be playing through that demo throughout the week if I don’t get bored of it. Pretty cool game so far, but has a fair bit of swearing.

Otherwise, I was getting back into Gemcraft: Chasing Shadows. Being the idiot I am, I just now found out how to quickly power level. Don’t know how much more if the game is left, let alone how to unlock the higher difficulties, but definitely wanna finish it on the easy difficulty at least once before I die.

That’s me right now. Just recently sent an issue report to Proton over the fact I have not been able to connect to their servers on my Linux running laptop for almost a week at this point and have given up on trying to self-disgnose and fix it on my own using what little skills I have and whatever information I could find through web searches. The worst part is how it effortlessly works perfectly on my desktop running windows 10.

Would the feature in that horror game Zort where you sometimes use the player respon item and it respons an NPC that will use clips of what a specific dead player has said while playing count as AI use? If so, that’s a pretty good use of AI in horror games in my opinion.

Got an itch(dot)io bundle of games that goes to helping French devs, so I’ve been playing a couple of those. Specifically Flipon and Blocks That Matter.

Outside of those, also got into Symphonia and it’s pretty fun and so far has an amazing soundtrack. Also trying to make a level pack for Baba Is You, which is definitely harder than I thought it would be using the in game level editor.

Fighting Steam as it stands now is like trying to fight an uphill battle on an 80° incline with ice covering the whole hill. It’s possible, but I doubt we’ll see anyone able to dethrone Steam so long as Valve keeps their principles and morals about not absolutely enshittifying everything to death on their end.

I kinda wish I could save mine now that you mention it, but I don’t have access to my parents emails and they’ve probably long since deleted the email.

I swear, getting a letter and/or email about your piracy is definitely a rite of passage. My parents have definitely gotten a couple for things I’ve done (since they pay for the service) and I regret nothing.

Probably not accurate whatsoever, but I like to think ISPs and such refuse to drop your service if they’re a big enough ISP because that’s less money for their greedy cannon fodder of a CEO and won’t do anything unless the government or a larger company comes along either serving them a lawsuit or legal letters/documents.

It can be, but there are so much more important forms of activism that I’m pretty sure the people behind RiseUp most likely don’t want their bandwidth taken up by torrents.

So long as the game doesn’t lag enough that I have input lag, I’ll gladly play through a game at prettyich any FPS.

I definitely feel like I got an absolute steal of a deal. No idea when the sale ends, but I got all 3 games in the BioShock series, with DLC, and the 2 remasters for a little over $11USD before tax this weekend. I just finished my first time playing any of the games on PC. Had to install the original on my desktop with win10 because I couldn’t get the resolution right or brightness slider working on my steam deck when docked. Definitely prefer console controls because I was having a lot of trouble with mouse and keyboard controls, so I’m gonna have to switch to controller.

Other than that, I started playing Stellar Initiative this weekend as well and it’s was pretty difficult on the easiest difficulty while I was learning how to play and what works well with which enemies.

My current one I found here on Lemmy. Someone made a post showcasing a screenshot of some discussion around someone who took the iconic Luigi Mangione smile but did a furry version. I had to have it, so I downloaded it and have furry Luigi as my background currently.

Otherwise, it’s usually images I find online on art sharing platforms like DeviantArt or FurAffinity.

Looks like the number of bots has increased. No same person would ever create an account on there, not since at least the 2010s.

Since I just got my deck repaired and returned, I can continue Sonic Origins on there. Had to install it on my desktop temporarily.

I also just got the summon I wanted tonight in Fire Emblem Heroes: New Year’s Níðhöggr (Nithhoggr). As a casual I see strong unit like her and think I’m gonna be set for a long time (at least a new unit summoning banner or 2 from now hopefully), like when I got Heir to Openness Alphonse or Gatekeeper (even though he didn’t last long for me).

Not sure it it counts in any way as piracy per say, but there is at least jail broken bing’s copilot AI (Sydney version) using SydneyQT from Juzeon on github.

Okay, that is confusing. Do you need a special client or something from them to be able to access websites or what? I couldn’t figure it out (probably because I’m dumb).

Not 100% sure whether he’d like it or not, but HyperRouge. Can easily be played with just the mouse. At least that’s how I play it since I cannot figure out how to move using keyboard.

There’s the free version, which might be available in whatever default software repository is enabled, available through GitHub for compilation, can probably run the free windows version through wine or proton, or there’s the Steam version if you wanna support the devs and/or like things like achievements or online leaderboards to track your progress.

Found that pinball Flatpak and it’s nice to occasionally play. Hits you in the memories, if you aren’t like me and actually play with sounds on.

If it’s something I really want and using crypt(dot)cc or whatever it is with the captcha like puzzles with the alien like creatures, I disable and make sure to re-enable when done. Otherwise I go away.

For other sites, if I cannot element destroy it and see the content, I’m outta there as fast as a deadbeat who just found out his girlfriend is pregnant.

I just got Ballionaire on my desktop and it’s more fun than I ever thought it would be. It’s a Balatro situation where at first it didn’t sound like a fun game to play, then I played it and it’s up my alley. Only things I personally don’t like about it are the dancing stick figure things on the main menu or when a run is over, but that’s just personal preference more than a critic of the game.

I also got into the 2.01 update of Pokemon Rogue Emerald (Emerald Rouge?) and even though it’s a lot different, I’m enjoying it so far.

Besides that, have not doneuch outside of mobile gaming since I have to RMA my deck.
