Tortoises can get pretty heavy, I’ve heard of 200lbs before. I’m sure they can get even heavier depending on species
Also yea I’ve never really seen someone hold a tortoise like this, usually they grab the bottom kinda like lifting a box.
Might have the big dumb
I hope you have a good day

Your bug sounds pretty strong, can I fight it?
You just made me look it up and apparently they canceled it when I heard about it
So nvm discord is doomed LOL They’re purely running on vc money and sooner or later this company will explode
Discord is never going to be profitable lmao
It can be a loss leader for microsoft, but at the end of the day, discord will always lose money. The operational cost of discord is way too high
This change just means more enshittification like with every ceo change.
Honestly they should just go full on points shops for spending money on xbox, like steam. Give out points to use for customization. That way they could at least make some incentive to use xbox and probably boost sales.
Ehh theres good and bad
I’m personally not a fan of brostep, but I will admit that skrillex was an early pioneer of the scene, and a lot of modern edm is shaped around that era (which is moreso around the start of mainstream edm imo). A lot of the first exposure of edm for people was through early internet culture, which a major portion was mlg memes and a lot of brostep. For me, if it wasn’t for brostep, I wouldn’t have color bass (one of my favorites atm along with just good ol dnb). Even brostep brought a resurgence in traditional (-ish) dubstep in the form of teardown and riddim (not much 2 step though)
Example of color bass that I like https://youtu.be/2mInwGLfEaI
Depends on how they want to implement it. I’d be fine with just separating nsfl (content warning/gore) and nsfw (18+ topics) because those are inherently not comparable even though both are not appropriate for work
They can cater to better labelling, but clarifying the two would be a solid step
Imo nsfw is a bad tag and should be separated to at least viewer discretion (nsfl) and porn. I’d probably add a tag on offensive humor too, since I don’t think my workplace would appreciate things like guillotines or 2meirl4meirl, but that is less useful than the other two
Bad press would work if there were consequences like forcing the CEO to step down
Unfortunately in today’s world corporations and their ceos can get away with almost everything
Feels like it’s been that way since the election to be honest
Lemmy has always been a political outlet, but post election has been out of hands.
demoknight and direct hit soldier are like some of the most fun loadouts though
Even trolldier is fun (granted I suck at it)
Im not usually a fan of alc but I do enjoy rice wine (korean flavored ones) and choya plum wine. Maybe you could try those? They’re moreso a sweet alcohol and doesnt have that weird earthy bitter taste imo
The you part of youtube was definitely people making videos for the fun of it. Things like videos about a topic they’re passionate about (eg. Fallout NV, weird mechanics in games, etc.), 2008-esque skits, lets plays, and all that. It still exists, but youtube was really at its peak when it was just a buncha random people living their lives and having fun.
You have a valid point but also having walkable sidewalks is an important thing. You’d need at least a bit of concrete/asphalt to make sure everyone, especially those with disabilities, can move around.
Making sure the leaves are out of the way allows pedestrians to walk safely (no hidden sharp objects, no slipping on wet leaves, etc.) and makes sure those on wheelchairs are also able to pass.
Not sure why raking isn’t more popular though. I’m tormented by leaf blowers in the morning at 7:30.
Chrome using 8gbs ram is not necessarily a bad thing
Usually browsers use a lot because nothing else is using the ram. If you had a separate program running, the browser would stop using as much.
I forgot that periods are used in some places instead of commas for thousands and was wondering how you could get 0.934 of a person
For some reason though its written as 4.84 instead which I thought should be written as 4,84?
Yea lots of the secondhand tech market exists purely in the US. The market outside of there and a couple other countries (uk, ca, de) dont really exist afaik
You can still look for used ones locally either through hardwareswap or fb marketplace (unfortunately thats the best secondhand marketplace atm). Other options include liquidation companies, sometimes universities also have a big market (from both staff and students)
Its been pretty rough still though, good luck on your search
You can have your emergency funds in a high savings account as long as you can withdraw it without a pnealty
People in cali (at least norcal) go 80mph, some go even faster (like 100 lol) on the highway
Socal is always a traffic jam so probably not applicable there
