Tuvix the whole crew so every crew member has multiple specializations and reduce the resource requirements by half

Back in my day they weren’t color coded.

I think what they’re saying is a firmware update changed the TVs programing so it now switches automatically without giving a prompt and a solution might be to disconnect the TV from the internet and try to re-install a previous version with a usb stick.
