Bitcoin is deflationary. There is a hard limit on the total number of bitcoins that will ever exist. Every so often, the reward for mining a block is halved. Eventually there will be effectively zero reward for mining at all.
That might have been true a decade ago. But GPUs and FPGAs have long been obsolete for mining Bitcoin.
Mining is happening on custom silicon in large-scale operations. They specifically observed several of those large-scale operations in multiple nations and extrapolated out. I don’t see how that methodology is flawed.
Human beings who want to speak with other human beings.
I know. It can seem like a strange concept to some people. It’s strange to me that they find it strange.
I asked DALLE-2 for a “wide shot of a delivery driver in a Louisiana bayou with bagged food” and it gave me this:
That’s certainly a fascinating way to interpret “bagged food.”
Holy moly!
“If we don’t have Spotify working properly across Play services and core services, people will not buy Android phones,” Harrison testified.
Google: Sorry, other devs! You just aren’t as important as Spotify!
[I mean, they aren’t wrong. But this does not bode well for them!]
They already did
Clearly this was before Apple became one of the largest advertising companies.
Thanks, I’ll look into them.
Lately I’ve been carrying around my Logitech Zone 750 headset because it’s the only thing I’ve found so far that actually lets other people hear me clearly. I wish there were more Bluetooth headsets available with a real mic (i.e. one that actually extends out to your mouth).
They’re great for the person on the other end of the call?
How are they for phone calls in noisy environments (for the person on the other side of the call)?
Really goes to show how few people actually use multiple profiles. Surely something so egregious would have otherwise been caught sooner.
Maybe they should look into being sponsored by BetterHelp.
There is a setting buried somewhere to disable it.
They don’t sell data. They sell ads. Selling data would directly erode their ability to sell ads.
Hey! It looks like you’re writing a letter not using your S-Pen!
The 15 Pro issues are believed to be caused by compromised thermal design.
Apple claims the heat issues with the 15 Pro stem from poorly optimized code and will be resolved through OS and third-party app updates. But if the thermal engineering truly is the culprit, then they are dealing with a fundamental hardware flaw.
And if addressing the heat issue is their goal, there is only so much they can do in terms of software optimization. Unless they get very lucky and strike gold in terms of finding and correcting poor code, they will likely need to make performance worse to achieve the desired result.
And if the backup was merged into existing contacts, just take a new one. Then you can purge all contacts instead of trying to sort through the broken ones.
