Ah that actually makes sense. Open source of the code doesn’t give you free reign on the art assets. Wouldn’t have even thought of that myself.
I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.
Currently on Earth for 8 years ensuring steps to unite humanity and usher us into the galactic civilization just so I can see my boyfriend again.

I only know two languages:
English
Bad English
That’s because it isn’t actually AI.
Someone mentioned in another post about this that compiling the source of one of these still requires you to own the game on Steam to run it and I’m just like “if it’s open source, couldn’t I just, like … Remove the code that enforces that?”
It’s not the asphalt that is lacking.
It’s the desire to spend money on the humans required to put the asphalt in the holes that’s lacking.
Although, the other county that my county borders has pretty regular repair crews come out to fill the potholes… But they just fill them with gravel. Not only does it not last more than a week, the fact it’s not sealed at all just causes more damage to the road, to vehicles driving over it, and to nearby structures when all that gravel is thrown and kicked around by shit driving over it.
Bed on the floor
This implies that some people have their bed on the ceiling.
You’re from the future?! :O
That would assume the tomato sauce in those Lunchables actually have tomato in them. I didn’t even like those things as a kid, so I am dubious as to whether anything in them is actually food.
I was all prepared to deal with my dogs freaking out for their first 4th of July but they didnt even seem to notice. Every cat I had ever had, always freaked out and hid under a bed once the fireworks started going off.
I don’t know Rust. 🤷🏻♂️
(I mean, I don’t know a lot of Python either so I can’t even get the joke. 😞)
I wouldn’t think it wouldn’t be any more of a legal requirement than making sure you keep CSAM off your servers as with current laws, just now with deep fakes too.
I want a Sidekick again. I was actually wondering if any of these clicky cases will have that swivel keyboard.
I had made a script that would allow me to set timers for my stickies as a demo. Spray a CP or doorway with 'em, set the timer to, like, 60 seconds and then go spam regular nades somewhere and just wait for someone to explode a minute later.
You can play most vidja james with the graphics maxed out. At least @ 1080p on that one.
I would love to have a coffee table made of wood from a coffee tree.
I just want to know that something new I subscribe to was added because it doesn’t always appear on my front page or recommendations, doesn’t show a thing on the subscription panel (assuming the channel is one of the ones visible without going into the whole page of subscriptions) and I don’t want to have to check every channel I subscribe to every time I am watching YT just to know whether or not there is anything new.
It’s not like the notifications go to my phone or anything.
I have them all set to all.
Admittedly, they could still have a jingle for when they stop and setup shop. It would be especially useful if they are moving around and not often in the same place every day.
What surprised me the most was the statistic that only 3% of author’s views come from the subscriptions feed. This is wild to me because subscriptions are pretty much the only way I have ever used YouTube.
Considering that my biggest issue with YouTube is the fact that subscribing to a channel means fucking nothing now, it doesn’t surprise me at all.
Being subscribed to a channel used to actually inform you when that channel uploaded something new, every time without fail. Now, that system is a separate thing (the bell) and it doesn’t even fucking work 100% of the time. I subscribe to and have notifications enabled for about 13 channels that upload every single day; I only get notified like once a month about a random video whenever YouTube decides it wants to actually do the thing I have told it to do.
Like, I am subscribed to Technology Connections and have notifications enabled but this post is how I have come to know this video was uploaded.
The thing that really stops me from enjoying a lot of old games I liked back in the day is the abysmal controls. Years of having good controls has ruined my ability to go back to when devs were still trying to figure out the whole 3D thing.
