Building a new PC soon and really thinking about to try out one of the more gaming focused distros, so happy to see there will be multiple to choose from. I’m on Mint for a while now and had very good experience with gaming and performance. Normally I would not have time to do the whole “distro hop” thing, but damn I just might :)

I agree, someone should have highlighted it, this is just confusing.
Sorry, I have a Radeon rx580, no experience with Nvidia yet.
Thank you. I will look into it!
Unless you want to play recent multiplayer AAA titles your steam library will work with little to no tinkering.
There is a website Check My Deck, which is originally designed for steam deck users, but linking your steam library you can check how many of your games will run out of the box, and how many require some additional steps on Linux/Proton.
For the ones not on the list you can check ProtonDB for guides and opinions from other Linux users.
Thank you. I have a relatively big GoG library, so lutris is already installed :)
So far loving it!
That is for later, but definetly will do some experimenting with the deck.
I dont know you but it means a lot :)
Thank you! Yes, it needs to be enabled there. Its basically just 3 extra clicks and the game is good to go :)
Your answer sounds like it was lifted from a LinkedIn motivational post.
College favours the rich, who can afford it and I don’t think people with higher education are better at planning their future.
Lots of people are forced through college by their parents, often backed up with money and safety nets of security - if they fail the first time they just throw more money at it and try again.
I guess 5 rounds of 90 minutes long multi-stage interview process is much more efficient, where people selling an idealised version of themselves in imaginary scenarios.
Also talking to HR/recruitment department, who has no idea of the actual job is a great way to find the right candidate.
…its ridiculous
Cant you find out the answer for these questions with a series of short tests?
I once applied for a job at IBM and instead of an initial interview they sent me a series of interactive tests to check my skills. I ended up moving to another country and didn’t follow through, but still liked this approach.
Also in the EU I can see lots of job listings are using now a system where you either have a certain type of education/degree or a certain previous experience to be eligible to apply.
Still you need to have knowledge of the specific field, but technically if you started at the bottom with an entry level low skill job you can get higher with experience alone and without a university degree.

I use wired in-ear headphones while cycling for convenience of not needing to charge so they are always ready to go when I go for a ride. Also I wear my phone in the back pocket of my jersey, so its an extra string holding my device in case it would fall out (never happened, but just in case). I use some half-decent BT headphones for media consumption when home.
Just ordered a pair of wired in-ear headphone from their website for like 15 USD with free worldwide shipping and they sound amazing.
While they have products in the thousands, most their headphones cost under 100 AFAIK
Of course regardless the phone will be 100% overpriced.

Sorry, I did not mean to attack you personally. Te high-end GPU market is clearly NVidia territory and in my opinion so few people are using theses cards with Linux, the issues related with them might not get as much attention as the more mainstream stuff. No suprised AMD not even trying to compete with these cards and want to stay in mid-high range.
