Found my blackberry torch in a drawer a while ago. Man I love that thing, great size, solid pocket ability, great keyboard.

I miss small phones. I use my phone for communication primarily, and the occasional video or something. I swear the keyboards on these things are getting worse and worse at prediction and correcting. I found my old Curve 8320 when moving and just spent some time fondling it, and that really reminded me of the level of control and precision those input methods had. I know I’m in the minority with how I use my phone, so I know that small batch will always be out of my price range. The last two years I’ve been using a Samsung flip and it’s the happiest I’ve been with a phone in a long time.

I haven’t played Minecraft since they took it from me.

The only problem I’m having with jellyfin is around subtitles, but it’s getting better all the time. I bought the plex lifetime license a few years ago, but we’ve moved our whole house to jellyfin now.

I’m in university and I’m hearing this more and more. I keep trying to guide folks away from it, but I also understand the appeal because an LLM can analyze the code in seconds and there’s no judgements made.

It’s not a good tool to rely on, but I’m hearing more and more people rely on it as I progress.

The best part about this, is that new models will be trained on the garbage from old models and eventually LLMs will just collapse into garbage factories. We’ll need filter mechanisms, just like in a Neal Stephenson book.

I’ll be honest with you, this looks awesome. Unfortunately the amount of setup is more than I’m willing to put into a tool. I’ll stick with Kvaesitso for now.

I’ve given up trying to find a small phone with decent support. I picked up a Smasnug Flip4 on sale and I’m converted to flip phones now. I loved my Sony XA2 for it’s size, but the software support was atrocious.

My ideal phone is something closer to the Blackberry Bold or the q10, but I realize that’s a market segment of 1 so I’ll never get it again.

Ive been burned took many times by hardware manufacturers not supporting their devices. I loved my Sony XA2, but they freaking tanked that thing.

I want to support Motorola, but if this thing is going to either stagnate or lost features on update then I can’t justify it.

This is the frustrating part of it. The public doesn’t understand what’s actually happening, or what the goal of these large language models is, so because they’re very convincing conversationalists, your average Joe considers them as true AI.
