I jumped to foldables when Fold 3 hit the market. Never looked back, I really liked that form factor. Tri-Folds are another story, as long screen isn’t hard and scratch resistant as normal glass, I could never even think about getting one.

And there is higher price to pay and some things you need to look out (ex. inner screen) when being early adopter. I knew this and I don’t have issue with that, but it’s not for everyone.

I had to replace inner screen protector ~once a year with Fold 3. Don’t know how Fold 6 will handle that. …tho I never paid a cent for inner screen protector replacement. First time was paid by Samsung (it was under warranty), second time shop broke screen while they were removing protector, so I got new inner screen + battery + screen protector for free. Third time I had to replace that protector, I sold my phone before I could do that and switched to Fold 6 🤷

My only gripe with tri-foldable are those screens.

Even with Fold series, inner screen gets scratched pretty easily compared to normal glass screen. I don’t see tri-foldable screen handling that any better. Otherwise tech is cool.

Any upsides compared to revanced youtube music? (patched version of official client without requiring subscription to use)

Some users are just petty. Ban TikTok for data sharing fears, then switch to another Chinese app out of spite.

Battle Beast is currently my favorite live band what I’ve seen. Show has always been epic and full of energy, I just love it.

Custom ROM has high change to break Widevine DRM L1. And ex. Netflix has better streaming quality on L1 than it has on L3 (1080p vs 480p). At least this was the case few years ago.

What happens if user spends over 3 minutes to write the post after uploading image?

Would user create a post with broken image link? or would there be some kind of “call home” API call on create post page so image wouldn’t be removed? (which has risk that API call could be replicated by a bot)
