It was one of the cheapest variants of intel processors, so I highly doubt it has any sort of transcoding support. I have resorted to using my desktop pc for streaming, since it has a much better CPU.

Tried to use my fifteen year old intel atom home server for 4K videos with Jellyfin. Probably could have predicted that, but it was veeeery laggy 😄 no way that old of a processor can transcode 4K videos in real time. It is useful for backups though.

I’ll probably wait until 50% off. I have no hurry with that.

How about forcing stores to allow moving games into another store. For example, allow me to move a game from steam to the epic games store, or the other way around. Then the whole “but I have all my games on Steam already” problem would be solved when switching to new stores.

I’m using immich for half a year or so now. There only problem is that it did not chunked uploads. So one large video just never uploaded, and I had to use nextcloud to upload it instead. Otherwise, it’s great.

Honestly, I don’t even want to have all that money at once. If just the job market is good enough that I will always be employed and earn a livable wage, that’s what makes it already. It’s a lot about trust in the economy, and knowing that there is a social system that prevents me from starving in case my education becomes worthless at some point.
