Yep and drm is a similarly impossible thing that many put on their best grown up faces and pretend is real.

It’s a subject I follow more closely than most I bother with.
Tea bags – depending upon your locality – are also a large source of micro plastic consumption. I’ve switched to loose leaf but it’s ridiculously expensive and very worse.
Yup we’re all idiots
They convince the rubes that you can vote in a different, more “traditional” culture than the one you currently disagree with despite not doing anything to move back to the economic conditions that made the “previous” culture possible in the first place.
It works to pull culturally regressive, economically movable morons into the coalition. But since voting out a culture is basically not possible because culture isn’t created by government in the first place, they’ll quickly learn that the PC lingo, “cancel culture”, #metooism, and “wokeness” still remain. Or they would learn that if they weren’t completely braindead and incapable of analyzing how their actions do or do not affect things.
Sure, “no man sets foot in the same river twice”, but that does nothing to argue against the preservation of cultural items.
Take music, for instance. I never feel the same way the second time listening to a song as I did the first time, but that doesn’t make the music less special or change anything about it at all, and it certainly does nothing to advance a hypothetical argument that music shouldn’t be recorded or that the recordings of it shouldn’t be preserved for future enjoyment or different audiences.
Maybe I’m missing something then, how would you pass a DNS challenge?
I agree, if you’re putting your internal domain names into the public DNS you do not need a star cert.
I agree that this is a good idea, but I wanted to add that if someone owns a domain already, they can also use that internally without issue.
If you own a domain and use Let’s Encrypt for a star cert, you can have nice, well secured internal applications on your network with trusted certificates.
One of the main reasons the Pope is anti-drag is that he thinks playing fancy dress up times should be reserved for only high members of the Vatican.
My company did a big old round of AI layoffs and now it’s barely functional at all because it got rid of a bunch of people actually doing things and kept all of the loud idiots.

I’m more interested in Club Shay Shay personally. But then again, who isn’t?
Hey, the thoughts I have while I’m showering do not account for the dystopic problems that’ll likely prevent their implementation. My shower is a happy place.
It’s not an issue, that’s just an effect of the sarcastic phrasing. There’s kind of an embedded notion within the original thought that people actually do this by choice. I think most work in dictatorial companies because there’s really no other choice except destitution.
I have a problem with the willingly in this thought.
The issue is that people are pretty unwilling to be homeless or starve if there’s an alternative (no matter how terrible).
Working is the worst way to prevent yourself from starvation and homelessness except for all of the others.
The idea of “surviving” doesn’t even come into play in the evaluation of other species. Stupid as hell species survive for hundreds of thousands of years on Earth, that’s how conducive it is to life. You seem to have some unfounded civilized cavemen POV on our ancestors when really we’re still all apes + advanced language.
The dawn of civilization wasn’t us going from some lone person survival style steam game where we came into the world solo dolo in a pair of underwear.
