It happens on both mobile data and wifi. VPN doesn’t help either. As far as I know, my provider doesn’t block any sites and even if they did, shouldn’t VPN fix that?

Yeah Firefox + Ublock Origin. It buffers for me indefinitely and the only way to fix it is to skip ahead 10 or so seconds. If I then go back 10 seconds it starts buffering again.

Is this why I’ve been getting constant buffering at the start of videos?

I see now. I have pretty beefy computer so I haven’t noticed that. I also shutdown my computer every night so it’s still not problem for me.

Can’t remember a windows update taking longer than 5 minutes. And even if it did take that long, you can just press “update and shutdown” when you stop using the pc. Windows has a lot of problems but this isn’t one of them.
