  • the obsidian-git plugin. Auto commits and pulls/push every x minutes. Works great for me, I get full version control and works on all my platforms (Linux, Windows, Android). You just need to be careful with your .gitignore and add at least .obsidian/workspace.json to prevent conflicts.

Probably not suitable if you store larger files, but after a year of daily usage with tons of small images I’m still below 150 MB.

  • When I was younger, you’d still buy games in a physical store and one time I found a great sounding game “Fury” (an online PvP RPG). I went ahead and bought it with my pocket money and was super eager to play it. I even remember reading the booklet in the car while driving home, imagining how fun that game will be.

At home I then installed the game just to find out the the fuckers have shut down the game servers just about 2 years after the initial release of the game rendering the game absolutely unplayable.

I’m still kinda pissed about that, and I still have that box lying around somewhere.

There was a video about it on her channel or smth about it, can’t remember right now. Generally very positive, but doesn’t want to be on camera atm. I’d love more content of her but I can also understand if she doesn’t want to anymore. There are always some shitheads in the comments or elsewhere insulting and making the life of others their problem.

  • Doesn’t solve the autocomplete issue when you’re trying to show someone something. I also don’t get ads for things I searched for while in a private window. And don’t forget how useful it is when you’re logging into some of your accounts when it’s not your machine, or logging into two accounts at once.
