True, just side graded from a S23 base to a pixel 9, the pixel is a lot better in many ways. Mainly the UI is clunky and everything is bloated on the galaxy. There’s way too many features and way too little thought that went into organizing said features. Meanwhile the pixel is beautifully animated and has very nice and actually convenient features for calls for example. Most of the galaxy features I feel are just toys and gimmicks. The pixel is also more repairable with their online parts pairing tool as well as being more open to custom ROMs

Xperia 10 is what you’re looking for, it’s a tall phone, but it’s 68mm wide, which is what mostly counts in phone size feel. I use an S23 and I’m happy with the size. It’s still one-handable enough for me and I have small hands. Otherwise you can look at Asus’ Zenfone lineup from 8 to 10, but I would only recommend the 9 and 10 because the 8 sucked

My question is, will it be a real VM or a container? They are both Linux, so it could potentially work. Anyways, I really like the idea of my phone also being my laptop that I can just plug a keyboard into, and not some big screen phone apps with a semblance of desktop layout.

I will go against the tide here and welcome this change. The web is powered by advertising and tracking. It will happen whether Mozilla is part of it or not. In that case, I would much rather have a website using a Mozilla advertising service that is more ethical and respects the user more than the ones from big tech. It’s a lesser of two evils and I support this. I would of course rather have no ads at all but we don’t live in a fairy tale world and evil companies exist. And like most ads currently in Firefox, I fully trust we will be able to disable them easily, just like we can right now.

Firefox should default to Wayland starting with version 121, this should not be needed. If you are using a flatpak for Firefox, I suggest you install Flatseal and check it it has the Wayland session toggled off. From there you should also be able to set environment variables specific to this flatpak app.
