That is actually genius.

Oh that’s a great idea.
My old phone is 10 years old
Props to you. That’s some value you got. I got 5 out of my last one with Lineage and thought I was doing well.
Oh transparent case (with bump edges) all the way for me. They go a little yellow after some time so need replacing.
They allow you to see dust buildup which I unfortunately discovered on my last phone starts to cause lots of little micro scratches over time.
The latest android versions on quite a few phones allow you to stop charging at 80%.
On my phone it’s: settings->battery->charging limit.
It may be different on your phone so maybe just search for “80” in the settings menu.
Yeah spot on. Deleting.

100% fair and I do generally follow that rule with my phone and mostly enable the “stop charging at 80%” feature but I’ve noticed two downsides to it:
I’m a bit more carefree with the headphones partly because it’s harder to tell and partly because it’s a much, much easier battery replacement.
Just switched from Nova to lawnchair about three days ago and I’m very happy with it.
You might be interested in lawnchair. It’s open source and based off the Google launcher (AFAIK) but you can remove the search bar and other things.
The one on f-droid is two versions out of date. Latest one is from their website:
I remember when that video came out and I was truly impressed at watching good regulations in action.
Luv me some EU I does. 🇪🇺
Big fan of the Motorola phones myself (I’m the chief phone buyer in the house) and that one looks like a very similar spec to mine.
Current phone is the OnePlus Nord 2T. Absolutely great phone. I really love the screen as I do watch movies on it.
My only issue is that I’m not sure it’ll ever get Lineage support and I think that might be down to the processor in it.
Are you looking for a new phone yourself?
Current phone was 240 euro. One before that was 460 but I got 5 years out of it. The only real difference I notice is in the screen.
The last objectively good Microsoft OS that didn’t have any significant user-hostile features was Windows 2000, IMO
Hard agree. Windows 2000 was rock solid, reasonably lightweight and had no shenanigans going on in the background. It’s EOL (edit: actually I think it might have been a specific version of directx only being supported on XP maybe) was one of the things that pushed me to Linux.
That and the native Linux Unreal Tournament 2004.
This blew my mind a bit so here’s a pic for others…
That’s a fascinating little nugget!
I can hear his voice so clearly reading that. :D
Her first interactions with newt were so soft too. Really amazing character played by the perfect actress for the role.
Aliens is my favourite movie of all time.
TL;DR:
