Thanks, I haven’t used pi-hole in a while, but it looks the same for me.

Does it do auto certificate renewal?
Yes.
Have you considered using a Cloudflare tunnel to bypass the CGNAT?
I did before when I had some free domain over there, but I don’t think there are any worthy free domains out there anymore, and even when they are cheap, I really don’t need it and don’t feel comfortable to pay for something that I can’t use in its fullest (due to CGNAT).
For example, I am aware cloudflare tunnels can’t be used for a Plex/Video streaming and that is the number 1 service that I want to be exposed to the Internet.
For now I am living with my IPv6 address and the Synology DDNS with the reverse proxy features… My personal fallback are Tailscale and Zerotier.
Ok I get it now, putting more restrictions even when “piracy” makes life easier for the users huh? That is a move.
I use Synology integrated reverse proxy, stupidly simple and always works for me (only if IPv6 doesn’t fuck up itself, I can’t fallback to IPv4 because that is CGNATED), if I am missing features that other options have I would like to know :)
This seems wise, is there any perk of having wifi on if you only load books with USB?
Huh, TIL, my gf has a relatively old Kindle, are all the models affected?
She uses Calibre to get her books.
I once got downvoted in Reddit for asking how I could use legal IPTV streams with the TiviMate Android TV app (which IMO it is the best you can have for IPTV experience).
They even told me I was surely using clever writing to get other users spit their secretly guarded IPTV resellers lol.
Well, I usually keep 3 ongoing games actively playing, right now:
Pokémon Omega Ruby
Metroid Zero Mission (almost get all the items at this point)
TLOZ Breath of The Wild
I would lie if I didn’t say my main focus has been Metroid as of lately.
My only gripe with using Stremio for anime (at least with Android TV) is its subpar support for .ASS subtitles with the stock media player… That is why I moved to Plex + Riven for anime specifically (skip intro and outro are a huge perk though).
I have been using those sites since decades ago, so I think I am safe.
I get my Spanish Latin media 🏴☠️ from many sites like that.
Not always an option to just go elsewhere.
I enjoyed my brief time playing Crisis with 3D (2 or 3 can’t remember) in my PS3 though.
I think I saw about this but then forgot quickly…
Is this available to watch for free? I wouldn’t expect otherwise.
then figure out what it actually needs.
It needs tracking to work.
Also, I hardly see my non tech relatives following your advice 🤣
Except that such an extra step is way better in quality and streaming speeds, compared to streaming sites, if you care about this or 1080p/4K high bitrate media.
As a matter of fact, since you can stream and also download torrents with a debrid service, I’d say paying a cheap seedbox (debrid services are cheap as well) is torrenting with extra steps… Without the ability to stream.
I miss the convenience.
I busted off my convenience for a little bit when setting up Plex + Riven + Zurg (the same could be said about my Arr stack) after that huge learning curve it is all about convenience baby, I get all my stuff in all my devices with one single account, keep the progress of the full library even pair it up with services such as Trakt, and I can even share the love.
I am gonna give you a couple answers for that based on what I have read in other places such as Reddit, perhaps OP does not agree with them.
RD or debrid services in general are paid services and it goes against their piracy beliefs (This is the silliest thing I could ever read… It only makes sense if you don’t care for quality and/or you haven’t tried a debrid service in your life).
Streaming torrents even paired with debrid services or VPNs (not needed when using a debrid service, or in some countries for bare torrenting) is more cumbersome than just using a website (even in this day and age when Stremio exists), which I kinda agree with them… But you get what you pay for… Am I right?
They just don’t have a clue of what a debrid service is.
I use Torrent daily, I basically never stop seeding what I download to my Plex Server and I also use a Real Debrid account, which essentially caches the torrents to their servers for us to stream through different methods (like Kodi, Stremio, or more recently for me Plex thanks to Riven/Zurg).
Ah, I see.
What you are describing is similar to me of how Chrome handles it on desktop, not a fan (I prefer STG, or Safari), but definitely better than nothing for a stock experience.
I tried Jellyfin years ago, it is in my test for later todo since then, it was pretty vanilla compared to my Plex Media Server (for instance I couldn’t get to work the transcoder to use quick sync to lower the CPU load if needed, meanwhile Plex worked fine with the Docker container even).
With that said, I stopped using Plex daily in order to give some use to my Real Debrid account (so Stremio and Kodi are the next logical alternatives for me) and because I only have a two bay NAS with 10 TB in total, and I like to hoard so I struggle every time I need to delete something, since I knew about Riven/Zurg/Rclone/DMM combo I have returned using Plex without worrying each day about my drives, keeping it updated and enjoying the thinkering process of this new experience, also sharing the love with a couple of friends, I see no need to try Jellyfin, even after that many years.
