I gave all the dlls executable permissions with the launch options and without and it still doesn’t launch

I changed out the semicolons for spaces and the game still fails to launch

I checked the permissions on the dlls and they seem to be fine. Do you think they need exectuable perms? Or just read and write?

I am in winecfg how would I go about setting uo the overrides?

Edit: nvm may have found it. Gonna give it a go.

Edit 2: I successfully added rhe overrides and it is the same result. I press play and nothing happens.

Now the game does not launch, I press play and nothing happens.

Is that correct? Those dlls are located in the base Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered steam directory. There is one more in Marvel’s Spider-Man RemasteredSMT/Scripts/smt_release.dll

Do I include that as well un the kaunch command?

Edit: tried this command and I tried it with the smt_release=n,b both included and the gsme still launches without the mod “host” and “join” options

Yeah I had switched the exe to the ubisoft connect installer provided by the repack. It installed but it still didn’t detect. Then I tried bottles and installing ubisoft connect in the “install an application” portion. Still nothing. I did notice that on the windows machine I have, it doesn’t seem like the repack installed ubisoft connect on the device. At least nothing I could find in control panel.

So I do not know why linux is asking for ubisoft connect yet windows runs the game with no ubisoft connect application installed.

Agreed, it feels a lot like bottles and I am not really a fan of it’s interface either personally.

Some of the original model controllers do not have bluetooth and must be paired via adapter.

The issue fixes after the restart command but when I reboot it cimes back.

Yeah I am positive I am running systemd

I can ping 1.1.1.1 and localhost but pinging google.com comes up with “temporary failure in name resolution”

I was able to get internet working by running the cimmand suggested by badlotus (I had already deleted the file they told me to the first time and then run the cimmand. So i didn’t delete it again because it was gone.) When I run that command my internet cimes back. However if I restart the issue comes back.

None of those config files exist in that folder location.

So I was able to get it working again by doing this solution that badlotus suggested. I did not delete the file because it was already gone after the first timw I attempted this. If I reboot my device however the issue comes back. If I run the command again my internet is back.

Badlotus’ solution:

“Have you tried deleting /etc/systemd/resolved.conf and restarting the service with systemctl restart systemd-resolved?”

Ok wtf. I retried this solution and it worked for some reason. I have no idea what happened differently. I didn’t delete the file because it was already gone.

However if I restart it breaks again.

I did and thay did not change anything.

As of right now I have tailscale uninstalled so I will reinstall it and try the values again.

EDIT: lol I forgot I do not have internet I cannot reinstall tailscale
