Thank you!
Thank you!
Is that her foot or the gun she is holding?
Due to the nature of my work I’ve flown hundreds of passenger flights of all sizes and I still find myself in awe.
What a privilege to be able to actually see down from such a range of heights too. Where there is still lots of detail to be found, but you can also get an appreciation of scale. It’s honestly really amazing.
What an absolutely wonderful game Dave The Diver is.
I bought 7 Days to Die about a week ago and put it on my Steamdeck right before a transcontinental flight, and since I started it on that flight, I haven’t played much of anything else.
I don’t know why but it’s kind of perfect for me right now, right between Ark and Project Zomboid and I feel like I have a lot of control over the pace of the game. Its nice.
In think ‘shrewd’ is probably the word, even if using it ironically.
I sense a back story
I omitted to mention that the number of thigh highs in my wardrobe have remained largely unchanged, so far anyway, and that I managed to avoid letting jeans-mania spill over into whatever passes for my real life.
Only dimly related, but since I’m in this 2%, I can’t help reflecting that in the 11 months since joining Lemmy, I have:
Canceled all of my streaming subscriptions
Built a massive Plex Server
Rekindled my love of Unix building said server
Began pirating movies, TV, music, and software like a fucking syphilitic pegleg
Began experiencing Star Trek TNG for the first time, pirated, on my Plex Server, running Linux
Bought a steam deck and began experimenting with Arch
Don’t ever let anyone tell you your feed doesn’t influence you, no matter how media literate you are.
What did you find to be cringe about it?
The graphics still impress me. It’s like the effects in Jurassic Park in that, while the overall tech has improved by leaps and bounds, the execution is so good that it still dazzles.
I hate to say this, but it’s almost better at Fallout than Fallout.
I’ve played all the Fallout games, my wife has played none of them. We are both enjoying it quite a bit so far, at least two episodes in.
Well, I’ve got an ISP with no data caps, two layers of VPN, and 8tb to fill. I don’t know what I didn’t do this sooner, but it’s been a good weekend so far.
It’s only 4 days later and I just built my first Raspberry Pi server for either Plex or Jellyfin.
This was it. This was the comment I needed to remove all excuses and get me going. I have officially raised sail.
Thank you.
Don’t do them like that. This is the type of service our money should actually be going to, for now.
Do it. I canceled all my streaming and music subscriptions about a year ago and would highly recommend it to all right thinking people.
