The world is very interesting the main characters the escort quest is not. All the villains are basically a throwaway that last 2 episodes if they are lucky. Also the girl/boy with special stuff that needs to be taken to dangerous X place is such a tired trope.

It’s the same thing in video games and books, people chasing money or lack skill go after the most popular genres even if they themselves don’t really have any interest in it and produce mediocre products that have 0 passion in them.

Communism isn’t the issue the same way Capitalism isn’t the issue, the issue is rich people abusing working class and poor people. Removing democracy from these systems just make them absolutely horrid in the long run. Also China isn’t communist it’s state capitalist dictatorship.
