I bought the Runtastic six pack abs trainer and butt trainer (one time $5 fee for each app) several years ago and have gone through each program a number of times with excellent results. Especially considering the workouts were only about 10-15 minutes each (so 30 minutes to do one of each). These apps have been discontinued for new downloads but I bet you could fine similar apps for free or cheap that don’t require subscriptions.

I think this cycle is more like half a generation above you than a whole generation. My fav bands in my teen prime were in their early 30’s, while my parents were closer to early 50s at the time.

For sure, and with even a teensy bit of reflection I think most people would agree that people are generally quite shit at expressing themselves with words. We say things we don’t mean or imply things we didn’t intend to all the time. A well written book or article takes hundreds of hours of re-writing and getting feedback and re-writing again just to try to communicate the author’s idea effectively. Snap judgments based on social media posts alone are pretty baseless.

Yes, best to assume you’re always misunderstanding, or at least not understanding completely, a conversational comment until you have a holistic understanding of where they’re coming from (ie you become familiar with them and how they think and what they value).

The quality line shouldn’t be so straight! Lots of excellent new big budget sci fi this year (PotA, Mad Max, Dune, quiet place, Alien soon) and even some non sequel/prequel ones (Wild Robot, Megapolis, Slingshot). The PRICES to go and get a bucket of popcorn and a drink to share have started to approach undoable though.

There’s a towel bar in front of my toilet (small bathroom) and holding onto it during a poop can absolutely elevate your form. Mind you I have a squatty potty too so this is an advanced technique.
