If Europeans don’t make weapons of war, someone will eventually conquer them.
And y’know, we have yet to see open, full-scale war between atomic powers. Nuclear deterrence seems to work (for now).

I typically go through a door and look for a place to put my coat, but you do you.
If Peanuts are nutpeas, tell me wtf cashews are: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cashewbaum#/media/Datei:Cashew_apples.jpg (don’t say “apples” just because that’s literally the file name …).
Weirdly, I do the opposite - I collect bottles that are simple, lightweight and a practical shape (i.e. cylindrical instead of bulbous, not to too tall, not too squat) and there’s a decent chance that I’ll decant liquor that comes in an extravagant bottle (though the bottles I’m most likely to decant are those that are too tall for my shelves or contain 1l - that’s just a lot of weight when you want to pour exactly 20 ml).
To real. Pretty good chance that when I do want to write something (e.g. birthday cards), my pen is dried up and it’s a whole thing to make it write well again …
Man, I gotta make the trip to our local unpackaged goods store. One of these days …
Oof. I also have a couple of really good bottles … I sometimes use them for premade cocktails or when I buy a bottle of spirit or wine that really needs a better container.
Or just let people download installers like GOG does, that way you don’t need to make and maintain a game manager (which GOG does anyway, for some reason).
It’s indeed pretty unfortunate that Path of Exile and Pillars of Eternity have the exact same initials, but I thought it’s clear in this context!
What does Battlenet even do for a single player game? And I thought Battlenet was exclusive to Blizzard games … ?
It’s pretty much impossible to replicate the tactical combat of an isometric CRPG in a first person game, so yeah, it’s definitely more similar to a Elder Scrolls. Though it looks like the combat in Avowed is at least somewhat intricate and entertaining, a low bar that Elder Scrolls games keep missing.
I expect Avowed to be a worse game than PoE 2 for my taste, which is one of my favourite games of all time! Definitely worth playing those, especially since Avowed is set only a few years after PoE 2.
I’m going to play it, but I’m certainly not buying it for 70€.
No, it’s pronounced fow-veh!
For roughly Jetta-sized cars by Volkswagen, it’s usually Passat or Golf (including the ‘Golf variant’ station wagon). VW Passat is fairly common as a police car, too.
Indeed. Though interestingly, the Jetta seems to be much more common abroad, t’s a pretty rare car in Germany.
Fun game, but it makes me nauseous after like an hour, and I haven’t experienced this in any game I’ve played so far. Something about the way the digging process is animated seems to trigger me.
USA isn’t Europe.
Being conquered is nasty business, too. Ask the inhabitants of Bucha if you find any.
