I ordered a trans flag last week; should arrive any day now. Going in the window with my Bernie 2020 placard and my UPS union efforts placard. Maybe I’ll order a print of Luigi.

I mean, to be fair, the executive team writes 90% of the code. All the other employees are basically lazy and useless if it weren’t for the execs dragging them along.
It’s sarcasm, stupid.
“Sony continues to disingenuously cherry pick text messages and alleged conversations,” said Barrett’s legal team in a message to Totilo at Game File. "
Cherry picked? There shouldn’t be anything to cherry pick in the first place. His conduct was gross and was absolutely sexual harassment.
This makes about as much sense as when they licensed iPods from Apple to sell with HP branding.
This was funnier than any dumb joke deserves to be. I approve.
Neither would I. And don’t look at anything I’ve ever done.
A lot of people torrent for piracy. No one is coming after you for torrenting Linux ISOs, so don’t worry about it.
I like your take. Thanks!
Thanks for clarifying.
Had a peak at the wiki entry:
The Book of Joshua (Hebrew: סֵפֶר יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Sefer Yəhōšūaʿ, Tiberian: Sēp̄er Yŏhōšūaʿ; Greek: Ιησούς του Ναυή; Latin: Liber Iosue) is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile. It tells of the campaigns of the Israelites in central, southern and northern Canaan, the destruction of their enemies, and the division of the land among the Twelve Tribes, framed by two set-piece speeches, the first by God commanding the conquest of the land, and, at the end, the second by Joshua warning of the need for faithful observance of the Law (torah) revealed to Moses.
Yeah, I was reading a lot about Jesus and the early church (atheist, history nerd), and I pretty much came away thinking that the ancient Jewish texts are pretty brutal.
I understand the watch having these features more than a I do with the bike. My sis-in-law runs marathons. I get why a phone is undesirable when running. I don’t get why when cycling, as it can just be attached to the frame of the bike.
Yeah, but I was only commenting on things like GPS and 5G. I know that my phone doesn’t track my heartrate (by default) and so on. I see no reason not to have those functions in the handlebar computer. I just don’t see why actual phone features would be duplicated, making the whole thing more complex and more expensive.
Features include GPS connectivity for mapping as well as 5G and Bluetooth support, integration with common cycling sensors, long battery life, built-in lighting, and more. A rearview mirror camera had originally been planned, though any rear-focused plans are currently on hold.
That seems a little silly to me. It could be lower cost if it relied on the user’s smartphone for some of this hardware. But I’m not a cyclist, so perhaps there are reasons that aren’t obvious to me.
I hate that I like this. The gate thing is super overused. But this one works.
Podcast ep this morning talked about a murder that required six knives because they kept breaking. Meanwhile, you can drink too much and drive home and take out a whole family.
This couldn’t be more true for my job. My last job had so many moving parts that we never weren’t under water. My current employer has things so segmented that I’m encouraging friends at the old place to jump ship by telling them how easy things can be when you have proper leadership.
This happened at my local mom and pop shop several years ago and I’ve never recovered.
The number of times I had to ask “how can I tell where the file ‘physically’” (I know) “lives” on the network when I took up work at a Windows shop, it was just baffling. And Win people couldn’t understand what I was asking.
There’s a location for this effing thing. I want to know where it is, really! How do I get that info?!
Oh, then I guess all the malware, spyware, and stolen-identity stories that I read about in security articles were wrong. That’s a relief.
