He describes himself as a “tetragrammaton cleric.” Prior to your comment, I didn’t know the first word had any actual real world meaning, so that’s where my mind went when I saw you use it. (Apologies if this is disrespectful to the intent of the word.)
As an interesting side note, supposedly that movie is what got Christian Bale cast as Batman.

My dad once told me of, IIRC, a Sprint ad wherein the then-president of Sprint came on screen and said something like “you know, with all the things these can do now, it’s a wonder we still call them phones.” I never saw the ad myself, but it seems to be saying something similar to what you are saying.

I’m not familiar with their versioning, but if the “b” indicates a beta release, the latest stable release would still be 3.7.1.

It was indeed unpopular at the time and not widely known now. I personally actually enjoyed the action (I think the final gunfight is one of the best or at least most fun I’ve ever seen), but I understand how it would be unappealing to some.
As I mentioned, Christian Bale’s performance is allegedly what got him the role of Batman, so make of that what you will.
It’s also worth mentioning that there are enjoyable qualities to the movie even discarding the action. If and when you do watch it, I hope you enjoy it!
