Good thought. Unfortunately I have confirmed the issue persists after sleep. Hibernation is disabled.
Yes. The appropriate nvidia service units are in place.
Yes. And those are all accounted for. Even toggled profiles off/on before playing. No difference.
Hi there. i9-14900K
On my setup, game launches automatically trigger the CPU Scheduler/Governor/Energy Profiles to Performance.
So went ahead and switched the CPU Scheduler, Governor and Energy profiles to defaults and powersave. Then put them all back to performance. Game is more than playable, its just not the same buttery smooth it was before the sleep.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Edit: dmesg
I have scanned my logs like I mentioned above, which includes dmesg and nothing stands out during wake or sleep.
Yes. There is a black color theme that works well for OLED
Your solution is to pirate $4 dollar game?
How about give the $4 to the developer of the game on steam and play it.
I haven’t played it in 6 months, but when I did it was on Steam and worked OOB.
Epic Games
My suspicion would be the Epic Games Store and that’s why we avoid it like the plague.
making this post incase other game didnt work
What does that mean? Are you saying no other games work?
It’s an RSS reader. Reviews are extremely positive. It collects no data. App has thoughtful configurations, adding subscriptions is smooth and I made it work for me.

FreshRSS backend and Lire (iOS)
Love it! Well worth the app purchase I couldn’t be happier with my setup.
Yes. Jellyfin is mostly awesome, now. I would recommend it to everyone.
Plex has been around a long, long time and the experience from backend to the front is still for the most part unmatched. It was really nice to have proper full featured clients on all devices. Built in skipping intros and ability to download content for offline use was really nice and would be very useful for me at this time.
I have a lifetime pass from the very beginning and was spare change compared to what they charge now. A common misconception is they took away the ability to log in locally on the lan without phoning home. You can still do that. But ultimately I decided to move on.
Vaultwarden
Super easy with a single docker compose file.

Maybe because of my background, but I’ve never had an issue standing up or maintaining a Nextcloud instance. Especially since the AIO release. Hell, I was shocked how easy it was to migrate.
I’m not saying it’s the best software, but it’s always just worked. I’ve been using it since I dropped own cloud for the nextcloud fork. What common issues are people having with the infrastructure?
I have to admit, I’m a bit confused.
I have dns records already in my domain provider pointing to a tailscale ip
I want to know what I have to do to get minecraft.example.com to resolve interenally.
Since your domain resolves to an internal private Tailscale IP and your question is how to access using the domain, locally…. I feel like there’s an error in your architecture here. Wouldn’t any device that is on your Tailscale private network already have access using the domain name? If by “resolve internally” you mean hosts on your LAN, not connected to Tailscale scale? How would that be possible if it resolves to a Tailscale IP. If you have control of your DNS on your LAN, you could simply add an override and point it to the LAN address of the Minecraft server.

it’d be nice to be able to use a domain instead.
If your looking to access it outside your LAN, you’re gonna want to open up the correct ports on your router’s firewall.
How annoying is it to connect to VPN/use Tailscale
I think it’s very important to separate a random “VPN” solution to using Tailscale.
instead of being able to access the service directly?
Focusing on Tailscale. Who turns off Tailscale? It is “directly” connecting to your service or app or whatever. That’s the whole point.
Gittea and Forgejo both have self hosted container registries.
Unfortunately these chips had voltage issues on launch. Whenever I do a new build I manually tweak my CPU in the bios while also testing my configuration using stress / torture tests on prime95 (mprime). They have since released bios updates that address the voltage issue. My understanding is the chips do not “degrade” over time, but instead could experience “damage” when used on a unpatched bios. More so when using the advanced overclock settings.
I don’t think so. This is a Linux bug. This bug doesn’t exist when booting into Windows.
