If your fan noises 😉 are really loud you should install a wall made of acoustic drywall in front of that shared wall and fill the gap with acoustic foam. Acoustic foam alone won’t help with loud noise. Since that mostly reduces the reflection of sound. Sound can still pass trough the foam and then trough the wall.

Yeah but have you ever coded shaders? That shit’s magic sometimes. Also a pain to debug, you have to look at colors or sometimes millions of numbers trough a frame analyzer to see what you did wrong. Can’t program messages to a log.

2·1 year agoYou can buy a flashcart for the DS and run pirated games on it. So as long as those ROM site stay alive you can play games on the DS. 81·1 year agoToo bad they didn’t use a layout similar as the Steam deck. It’s the best layout for a handheld with trackpads. These trackpads are really far down.
I’m still on my iPhone 7 and still haven’t found a good enough reason to upgrade. All my productivity work is done on my PC since I work from home. And I have a camera for photos. I’d rather use that money to buy Apple shares.

early adopters to buy this thing. Since currently it has no use case for the average user. Apple is probably afraid that if people buy it now and then realize that they don’t see any use for VR in their life they will never buy a VR product again and Apple will have lost that customer forever. Apple hasn’t found the killer app for the mainstream use case for this product yet and thus they are putting it in the hands of the third party developers.We also seen it happening with other headsets. Lots of people bought a Quest 2 during the corona pandemic, which triggered the Zuck to invest heavily in the meta verse, and now they are collecting dust and nobody visits facebook’s meta verse . The average consumer doesn’t want to strap on a clunky headset just for games or porn.
Or “for free” as in paid for by your data and the unskippable targeted ads you wil get on your infotainment system. I’m sure in the future some cheap car brand will blast commercials trough your speaker system to pay for all the free services

The Metal Gear series is interconnected to a high degree. Sure the games are perfectly playable without playing the previous games, but you’d miss a lot of plot points.
