That’s not entirely correct, they did use a fiber optic cable to transfer the data, as the more detailed article linked in another comment states. Quantum entanglement itself can’t be used to transfer data; you still need to send the entangled particles through some physical means.
From what I understand, the significance is that you can transfer the states around while keeping them in a superposition. Thus you can continue to perform computations with them even after moving them to a physically separate quantum computer.
GrapheneOS with a Pixel 6 Pro. It works perfectly for me. Most Google apps don’t work, but that’s only because I’ve chosen not to install their spyware “services”.
I don’t even have Steam on my Windows install as all my games work fine on Linux. Honestly I should probably just uninstall Windows at this point, I don’t think I’ve used it in months.
I think they’re suggesting it would seem like the user is upvoting their own comments with an alt, which could get them banned.

Yeah I don’t really understand why people care so much. If you don’t like game studios doing stuff like this, just don’t play their games. There are plenty of games out there with great Linux support you can play instead.
Can they do that? I thought all two letter TLDs were reserved for ccTLDs only. It’ll be interesting to see how things play out.
At that point it might be better to just have a designated anime, Linux, and politics day (or two).
Also make sure you have file extensions enabled in Explorer, it makes it waaay harder for something like this to work.

I see images, audio, or video files distributed in zips far too often. You’re getting maybe a percent of compression if you’re lucky; just distribute the raw files or use a non-compressed bundle format like tar.

To be fair, that is pretty much exactly what it’s doing. It just falls behind so much eventually that it ends up where it started.
They’re not indistinguishable, downloading a video results in the same amount of data being transferred much more quickly. But your ISP couldn’t care less either way.
