Alright fine… So what are the best forks that are the most compatible with existing Firefox add-ons?
Edit: It’s looking like Waterfox might be best for my needs, but open to other recommendations or tips.
I mean, why not self host an instance of git like forgejo?
I am very interested in Thunder, especially considering it’s open source. While it does seem packed with features, I’d love to see a bit more customizability though. I might submit some feature requests some day but looking now there are nearly 200 issues as it stands. Not a complaint, just an observation. Keep up the good work!
Serious question though, why? It’s not like they offer a ton of apps. It’s not a real app store, it’s effectively just a launcher for the 3-4 apps they have.
Directly through the manufacturer. Most offer trade-in promotions on par with, if not better than, any service provider deal, with the added bonus that you’re not locked into a 3 year installment plan with said provider.
Alternatively, eBay.
Just curious, how do you host it? Do you have it containerized or no?
The question is, how long until third party launchers start putting out custom desktops?
I’ve heard good things. I’ve been watching for it to go on sale.
Val was one of the reasons I still dual boot Win10 (plus VR gaming), but now that it released on PS5, I’d rather just relearn the game for controller.
What are some of the best alternatives? With comparable specs (in the US)?
Right now I have a Fold and honestly really like the foldables. Though I think the Pixel Fold is my only alternative there.
I think I remember learning that it was to save on printing (newspapers, etc.), but I haven’t fact checked that.
I don’t know how much my Watch 5 has, but I download my Spotify playlist to my watch so I can listen with Bluetooth headphones from my watch without needing my phone on my pocket, mostly for walking or yard work.
A lot of people are focusing on the D&D part but honestly what the people really want is for any and all studios to take the time they need so they can release non-buggy, higher quality games.
To each their own, I suppose. This has been my favorite tab management system I’ve used.
I haven’t used Vivaldi in years and only tried it for a short period at the time, but what features exactly are miles ahead or is it just the fact that Firefox requires a plugin to do some of what the competition has natively?
I can’t speak to that 100% but I do remember trying both (albeit briefly) and ultimately settling on Sidebery. Looking at the addons page, TST dev actually mentions Sidebery and a few others in their Developer Comments.
*Edit: It seems to imply that Sidebery is a tree addon with extra features. The most notable of which that sold me was the snapshots. I kept losing all my (~200) tabs if I closed Firefox improperly on my Macbook which was not fun.
Try Sideberry, tab grouping, renaming, dragging and dropping, snapshots, etc.
Isn’t that how iPhones update? I feel like I recall reading something similar a couple years back for iPhones.
Just a PSA, never ever EVER request deletion of an Oracle free tier if there is any possibility you might want one in the future.
You can delete/remove instances or whatever as you desire, but you won’t be able to get a second free tier account even if the first is completely deleted.
