As much as I would like it to succeed, I believe it will fail to lead the hero shooter genre.

I don’t have any experience with it, but this is what a lot of academic organizations use:
I use heroic, but if I didn’t use the other stores, would there be a benefit from using minigalaxy over heroic for gog specific use ?
My kids use it every day. I use it on long trips. But proton changed the whole linux gaming scene. And now there’s rumors of a Steam console (Fremont). I will definately be buying that along with 2 Steam Controllers (gen2).
Fortunately linuxserver’s main hosting is no longer dockerhub.
Holy shit. This is both awesome and so overkill that I want to try it.
Are there any FOSS alternatives? How do they compare ?
Cachy is just another distro for power users / enthusiasts. For people that want to tweak everything. Universal Blue spins are made for people that want their PCs to work for the user, not the other way around. They are unbrickable. Arch is a rolling distro, and thus it requires more maintenance than any other distro. If the user doesn’t want to learn everything there is to know about a Linux system, Arch based distros aren’t a good fit.
I tried Cachy, settled on Bazzite. Best decision ever.
This is amazing, very cool app. Congratulations.
I’m looking for imagemagick as an URL Based API.
Imagor works like that. You just do: https://domain/parameters/imageurl and the image is instantly processed and displayed. But imagor can’t do much compared to imagemagick. Which is why I’m on the hunt for a wrapper like that.
With Playnite having support for ROMM, this is great news.
Judging by screenshots alone, I think Fossify looks better than Etar.
It’s really surprising how fast people forget about the shady shit rustdesk has done.
Today Valve published a Proton Experimental update that fixed the Marvel Rivals crash for me. Be sure to set it up in game properties / compatibility.
Does anyone know if it supports split screen and controllers?
Is it me or is it really something truly extraordinary? In the sense that it requires zero maintenance, it just works.
Bazzite is exactly that. You can’t break it unless you read and study how to break it, intentionally. Flash it to a USB drive, boot to the installer, done. You’ll never worry about drivers, updates, ads, spyware, telemetry, that will be a thing of the past.
The giant cursor will keep tormenting me for the foreseeable future.
