Shawn Layden recently discussed the news that Nintendo Switch 2 games could cost as much as $80. But he believes players will pay for it.
Some of them will, yes. There are people who would buy a bag of human feces for $80 if it had Nintendo’s logo on it. I, on the other hand, will definitely NOT pay eighty bucks for a game, Switch or otherwise. Theres is nothing a game could ever offer me to fork out that much cash for it.
Yeah and there’s people that spend hundreds if not thousands on gacha games. But it ain’t me. Im no fortunate son.

I’m still getting over that 3DS games were only $40 MSRP. I miss Nintendo having a dedicated handheld division.

Lucky you it’s only $80. In Europe they are going for 90€, so I guess we’re passing the 100€ barrier on any game with dlc.
And people will pay. These are the fanatics that can’t live without a mario game.
Isn’t it obvious that people will pay that (or anything else)? If not, why should anyone get the console to begin with?
